Updated Summary Hogs back summit with good views.
Short Summary created by simon3  11 Jun 2013 Tooreenbaha is a minor summit on the ridge extending NE from Lackabane. It is likely to be included as part of a circuit of Cummeengeara for which it provides a moderately sloped way of going from the valley floor to the ridge.
It is possible to access it from the bridge at V760 558 (Point A) which leads to a dirt road. Aim for a point well down the ridge while ascending to avoid crags. It may be advisable to ask permission for this route. Parking is limited and you are recommended to park to the north of here.
It is probably possible to access it from the Glanmore River side also.
Point A: V760 558

Worth a short detour
by Onzy  9 Apr 2013 Visited this summit in February 2013 as part of a circuit of Cummeengeera (see track 2089 for full route). The hill is reached by a short detour off the route to Lackabane from the valley floor. A very stiff 400m ascent up a wide gully. You are unlikely to descend the same way - even Joss Lynam recommends avoiding that, though he does mention that a descent east of Tooreenbaha is possible.

The summit itself is an attractive prow shape with potential views into both Cummeengeera and Glanmore.
