MountainViews.ie Picture about mountain Cruach Thiobraide in area Bluestack Mountains, Ireland
Picture: Limitless blue-sky Bluestack views to be enjoyed from Cruach Thiobraide

by ahendroff  8 Sep 2009 Climbed this stack of the well as part of a circuit from G937935 (Point A) that took in Silver Hill, Croaghubbrid, Croaghugagh, Lacroagh and Crooveenananta. The approach to Silver Hill was generally SW over pt 567m. The low point of the walk E of Croaghubbrid Lough at G913929 (Point B) is an immensely peaceful iddylic location. It has that remote feel to it, surrounded by the Bluestack hills and the Binnacally cliffs and Gaugin mountain in the distance - a good camping spot. Croaghubbrid gives good views of the Blue Stack range to the S/SE/E.
Point A: G937 935 Point B: G913 929
