Theres probably an easier way, there is now!
Short Summary created by paddyhillsbagger, jackill  23 Jun 2012 Park at the forest entrance at R66296 15968 (Point A) , room for 5 cars. The first section is on a track then cross directly uphill through 600 meters of rough forestry planting. There are good views across to the Galtys and down over the little village of Ballyorgan.
For an easier way, park at forest entrance R665 168 (Point B). Follow track, take first left which brings you round to East of hill. Follow track downhill to forest ride on right which leads up through forest to bottom of heathery summit. Head roughly South for 100m to small cairn or rocky outcrop to West of cairn.
Point A: R66296 15968 Point B: R665 168

by jackill  21 Aug 2007 I parked at the forest entrance at R66296 15968 an made the short walk to the summit.
The first section is on a track but then I had to struggle across 600 meters of rough forestry planting. There are good views across to the Galtys and down over the little village of Ballyorgan.
