Picture: From the side of Broemountain
Park on the side of the Mellary to Newcastle road just after you cross the border to Tipperary and an abandoned farmhouse. There is room here for 5-6 cars.
Cross the road, down an embankment, over a rusty gate and follow the track all the way to Knocksculloge.
A featureless summit but views of the Knockmealdowns and Comeraghs compensate.
An alternate approach is from the south. There is parking for a couple of cars at a forest entrance at A (S128 065). Walk 100m north up the road and cross the wall next to the bridge at B (S129 068), then follow the narrow track above the stream to about C (S127 073), then turn directly north towards the summit, crossing a grassy field and which which then begins to rise more steeply, but is a relatively easy climb through short heather (with plenty of sheep trails to assist). After about 600m you will reach the summit which is marked by a small pile of stones.

I took in this mountain as a short circuit starting from D (S11184 08337) incuding Knockanask.
A flat featureless summit with fine views across to the Comeraghs and the smaller eastern summits of the Knockmealdowns Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/680/comment/2768/

Track on stream

The image below shows the stream referred to in the short summary above, approaching from the south. A narrow track follows the line of the gully for about 500m, although it occasionally disappears. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/680/comment/23283/
