A little gem!
Short Summary created by Harry Goodman,  6 Nov 2013
From the road skirting the E side of L. Eske at G984843 A take a minor road NE and go steeply uphill. Where the tarred surface ends G9924084975 B there is ample space for off road parking. The road becomes a rough gated farm track that can be followed up to L Fad H0003886117 C. Go left around the Lough and when the track starts to peter out go go left and head down NW to cross the Barnes River H0030086811 D or any other appropriate crossing point. Go N through un-tracked long tussocky grass and hummocky ground to H0008887826 E, recross the river by now a small stream and WNW passing to the S of L Nagrockgranagh N before climbing up to the rocky cap that marks the high point of the hill. G9959188107 F. Splendid vantage point to appreciate the high Bluestacks ridge, L. Eske, Donegal Bay and the distant Dartry Range. Out and back 8.25km. .
