Joyce suggests that the peak (binn) in question is Galtymore, which seems logical. Glencushabinnia is a townland north-east of here.   Slievecushnabinnia is the 64th highest summit in Ireland.

by simon3  22 Jun 2003 Dappled shadows darken parts of the side of Cush, the central mountain in this view east from near Slievecushnabinnia. Beyond and to the right of Cush is Knockastakeen, darkened over its full extent by shadow. Beyond Knockastakeen is the ridge of Sturrakeen.

Picture: Galtee Wall
by murphysw  19 Dec 2005 This is a picture of the wall between Galtymore and Slievecushnabinnia. Its about 5 feet high, and is well built, although it has fallen in in a few places. In bad weather it would guide you straight to the Slievecushnabinnia from Galtymore and keep you away from the cliffs above Lough Curra.
