Short Summary created by jackill  14 Aug 2011 Park at Ballaghbeama Gap, V75460 78103 (Point A), room for 4 cars next to the map of the Glencar area.
Head north uphill over horizontal rock shelfs to the summit of Knockaunattin West. Turn east and drop down to the col passing some minor lakes then ascend on grassy slopes to the summit of Knockaunattin.

by djouce  20 Jul 2005 It takes about 1.5 hours to reach the summit from Ballaghbeama Gap. There is a shallow lake (waist deep) for a refreshing, dip. There are a lot of rock outcrops at the summit.
