After taking in Bran Scultair and Carrigroe, I finshed my afternoons walk here. A walk from the Scullogue Gap over Blackstairs Mountain, Caher Roe's Den, Carrigalachan, Carrigroe, and on to Bran Scultair would be highly recommended. The views are amazing given the Blackstairs isolation from other peaks, and the ground is excellent. The path does give out for a bit on the col between Carrigroe and Carrigalachan but is not a problem. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/568/comment/3083/
