ITM: 498438 581932,   GPS IDs, 6 char: MngrNr, 10 char: MngrtnNrth
Bedrock type: Green sandstone & purple siltstone, (Glenflesk Chloritic Sandstone Formation)

This peak is on the ridge separating the Devil's Punchbowl from Lough Erhogh and the Horses Glen.   Mangerton North Top is the second highest mountain in the Mangerton area and the 57th highest in Ireland.

Leading south from Mangerton North Top is this fine scarp with a small pond near the middle. On one side (west, right in the pic) is the "Devil's Punch Bowl" and on the other is Lough Erghogh.
