Picture: Summit cairn on Maumlack and view NW to Errigal

by Harry Goodman  14 Dec 2009 I feel it is unlikely that this hill will be climbed on its own account and this opinion is supported by the fact that none of the seven people who have climbed it to date, myself included, have taken the trouble to make comment on their "feat". Maumlack is simply a bump on the rocky and winding ridge walk from Dooish to Slieve Snaght and this is how I encountered it. This said it is an isolated top with a large stone cairn and fine views across to Muckish and Errigal. My photo shows the substantial cairn and the view NW to Errigal.
