Theres a steep gully just to the west of the north eastern ridge that makes for a good scramble for a few hundred metres. Did it on a very windy and cold day and regularly got hammered by showers coming in from the north east, but it made it a bit more fun. The gully ends right at the top of the mountain. Got a nice surprise to haul myself up over a rock and find the summit cairn just a few metres in front of me. From the summit its quite an easy hike over to the summit of Mweelrea.
