This is the highest point in Co. Kilkenny. Brandonhill is also the name of a townland split between the parishes of Graiguenamanagh and The Rower and between the baronies of Gowran and Ida. There is also a townland named Brandondale in the parish of Graiguenamanagh.   Brandon Hill is the third highest mountain in the South Midlands area and the 487th highest in Ireland. Brandon Hill is the second most easterly summit in the South Midlands area. Brandon Hill is the highest point in county Kilkenny.

Climbed Brandon again yesterday evening for - I think its the 5th or 6th time this year. Never noticed the wind farms before but there are two - one of about 20 machines out in the direction of the Saltee islands and another with 5 machines looking toward Waterford - Look to the right of these and you can see the new bridge at Waterford.
