The name Knocklaur is marked about 1 km E of this peak on the Discovery map. As there is no summit at this point, it is not clear exactly which hill the name applies to.   Knocklaur is the 417th highest summit in Ireland.

View from the north.
by simon3  8 Jul 2012 The knobbly power of the north spur of Knocklaur can be seen from the road at around L921686 (Point B).
There are tracks up its E side such (See Track 1267) however climbing the northern ridge would probably be more mountaineering rather than hillwalking.
