We climbed Galtybeg coming from Greenane west, from which direction the ascent is pretty steep, as is the approach from the glen of Aherlow side. Getting to Galtybeg from the black road is pretty straightforward though. We were disappointed that we didn't manage to find the geocache on the north slope of the hill.
