ITM: 564802 675967,   GPS IDs, 6 char: Myls, 10 char: Moylussa
Bedrock type: Fine & some coarser greywacke, (Slieve Bernagh Formation)

Two tops of same height, the second at R651755. This is the highest point in Co. Clare.   Moylussa is the third highest mountain in the Shannon area and the 466th highest in Ireland. Moylussa is the highest point in county Clare.

. Re aidand's comments on highest point in Clare, the half inch map gives Glenagalliagh, 1746 ft., as the name for Moylussa while Glenagalliagh Mtn, 1456 ft., is about a mile or so to the SSW. I have climbed Moylussa - so called locally as long as I have known it - from North, South and East, usually in summer, and have been rewarded with excellent views over Lough Derg to the East.
