Bedrock type: Green sandstone & siltstone, (St. Finans Sandstone Formation)

This peak, unnamed on the Discovery map, is a satellite of Knocknagantee. Lough Keimaneigh is near the summit. Previously Coomavanniha in MV.   Cnoc Breasail is the 314th highest summit in Ireland.

One way of reaching the top is from the ridge on the south of Coomavoher, which is along the line of the wall and fence on the left of the picture. Visible on the skyline streching away from the left side is a broad saddle going from there to the summit. It's a wild ridge where the grain of the land will force you into many detours though it is a little easier on the west side. The ridge has many souvenirs from the ice such as erratics and scraped out ponds.
