Walks: see Paddy Dillon, Connemara, 80-85, for a route to the summit from Leenaun village. Sometimes called Bunnaviskaun.   Leenaun Hill is the 256th highest summit in Ireland.

3 of us climbed it from a point 1 mile from Leenaun on the road to Maam. We walked the horseshoe and descended down the river into the centre of Leenaun. It took 4 hours with lots of stops for photos. Well worth the climbing effort for the ever changing views. Very slippy descending as my sore elbow can testify.
