Walk this yesterday. After descending from Doan we crossed the boggy ground to the style in the col between Slieve Meelbeg and Slieve Loughshannagh and like everyone says, there are fabulous views for very little effort. It took us about 10 minutes for reach the top and we sat up there for about 20 minutes taking in the views and enjoying the March sunshine! We then descended to the Ott track and back to the car. This was a very enjoyable day and the actually walking only took about 2 hrs 30 mins. Here’s a photo of the view from the top Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/245/comment/2645/
