Bedrock type: Aluminous schists, hornblendic rocks, (Barnanoraun Schist Formation)

On the Discovery map this peak is marked as Luggatarriff, a name meaning 'hollow of the bull' which probably applies to a hollow on the slopes of Benfree.   Binn Fraoigh is the 222nd highest summit in Ireland.

Relaxing on Benfree when we used to do The Glencorbet Horseshoe on sunny day. Navigation is in summit Benbrack. Wanted to put panoramatic view, but there are good picture, so, just picture of me and my boyfriend. Just a word.
