Minor heathery lump. Overcivilised and underwhelming.
Short Summary created by simon3  30 Nov 2016
This oddly named hill is more a very minor heathery bump incorporated into the system of tracks laid out by the Wicklow Mountains National Park. It can be reached from any of the western car-parks for Djouce.
For example start from O169074 starA. Follow the forest road north and after a short distance find a prepared path going south. Follow this until you see a short signposted boardwalk heading up to the top.
It has reasonable views on a good day. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1480/comment/18108/

OS Sheet 56 revisited again!!!!!
by eamonoc  15 Jun 2015
Short and Sweet, started at 16943 07462 starB, plenty of room for many cars, followed Wicklow way through coillte barrier, immediately took a right turn up to a slightly higher well constructed path that led uphill to a small section of Board Walk on the right which easily led to the top, well worth the effort for the views alone. Total distance car to car, 700mts with 38mts ascent. Thanks once again Mt Views for getting me out into Wicklow on a beautiful day with my two teenagers and not one complaint from either of them, David! All too easy...
by Colin Murphy  6 May 2019
This literally took me 15 minutes round trip to my car - and that included hanging around taking snaps for a few minutes at the top! Parked where Wicklow Way joins the road at O170 075 starC and walked up track for about 100m. There is a narrow track/boardwalk running just above on the right. Ascend to this, turn right and follow it all the way to the summit. Great views from this incredibly easy top. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1480/comment/20518/
