Sídh Ghabhnaighe and Carraig Sídhe Ghabhnaighe [Carrigsheegowna] are minor names given by Canon Power under the townland of Glenpatrick. The more famous Knocksheegowna is near Ballinderry in North Tipperary. There is much fairy folklore connected with i   Knocksheegowna is the 143rd highest summit in Ireland.

Enchanting Comeraghs
by pdtempan  17 Jun 2010 Knocksheegowna and its neighbours are particularly enticing from the north. The enchanting scenery of the northern Comeraghs was my favourite discovery of 2009.

by simon3  9 Apr 2005 Lough Mohra (centre of the picture) is to the SE of this summit. An earlier name for the tongue twisting Knocksheegowna was Knockmohra.
