tsunami on Slieve Bearnagh North Tor, 2004
by tsunami  31 Jul 2004
Climbed Bearnagh for the first time today - followed the Trassey Track up to the wall on the sholuder between Bearnagh and Meelmore the took the (very) steep climb to the top, following the wall and across to the North Tor also. Although a new experience for me I think it instantly rates as my favorite mountain - the views and rock formations are spectacular. Returned to Trassey Track from the North Tor and the Hares Gap. Weather was tropical and made for some nice photos - I'll try and upload a few later. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/139/comment/1038/
