Picture: View north to Kippure

Aptly named
by march-fixer  22 May 2012 An easy summit to attain with a just reward at the top. There are wonderful views all around and excellent shelter (should the wind be from the SW ...). An excellent warm up for an attack on the undulating spine leading to Duff Hill and beyond.

It is easy to approach from either north, east or south directions. The view down the valley towards Laragh is exceptional - a wide open spread of Wicklow upland. Who says this particular area of west Wicklow is uninteresting? Where else do you get such an unspoilt spread of 'Mountain Views'!
