COMMENTS for Faranaree Hill 1 of 1
Where's the summit?
Short Summary created by mcrtchly,  18 May 2014
MV shows the summit lies to the south of the forestry but inspection of the contours and a visual inspection shows that it lies within the forestry. Park by a forest entrance at S 3934 3497 A. Follow track for 170m to a fork and take the left branch. Continue for another 400m to where a narrow forest break can be seen on the left (S 3878 3508 B). Follow this for about 90m to the highest point along the break. This is probably the summit but the forest on either side is so dense that it impossible to discern otherwise. No views.
