Bedrock type: Green sandstone & purple siltstone, (Glenflesk Chloritic Sandstone Formation)

This peak is on the ridge separating the Devil's Punchbowl from Lough Erhogh and the Horses Glen.   Glencappul Top is the 115th highest summit in Ireland.

Glencappul Top is on the right of the photo taken from Torc Mountain slightly behind and under Mangerton North top which is just peeping throughthe light cloud on the extreme right.
