An elusive little top.
Short Summary created by Harry Goodman,  30 Jan 2014
This hill can be approached either from the W off the B25 Rostrevor to Hill town Rd starting at J205239 A or from the E off the lower Newtown Rd. at J217238 B some 2 km S from the Leitrim Lodge car park. In either case a forestry fence can be followed to the summit area but be warned the actual top lies some 50 metres in from the fence (W) at J2100023950 C and within thick forestry. The top has therefore been seldom visited in the years since the trees have matured and thickened. An approach from the W starts higher and is much shorter than that up from the E. The ground on the climb up is rough and boggy. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/1096/comment/15340/
