A little hill with massive views
Short Summary created by Geo,  9 May 2015
Start from junction at W09321 28949 A where there is limited parking for a small number of cars. You can go North into the forest from here and follow the paths and steps up to the top, or walk SW along the roadway about 100m and then up to the right into the forest from here.
It's approximately an hour in total up and down.
The steps can be a litlle slippy after rain, but the forest is a lovely enchanted place with mossy tree trunks and if you go in spring loads of flowers, bluebells and the like. No navigational difficulties and if you get a clear day you will have super opportunities from the top for photo's or simply great views over Lough Hyne, and the surrounding coastal areas.
Don't miss it if you are in the area. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/1039/comment/5798/
