There is a long , broad shoulder leading up to the summit of this mountain after a short decline of 50 mtrs from Slievenea.The walking up this shoulder is fairly easy as its stripped of all bog for most of its length. The summit area rises about 50 mtrs above the rest and is strewn with flat stones. The photo shows the summit trig pillar looking out over Dingle bay and in the distance the majestic MacGillycuddy Reeks.
