Re: Menu problems.
Context of comment:Everyone who has reported their browser with this issue has told me they are using MS Internet Explorer.
Now, during development, I check the system with MSIE and other browsers and didn't find a problem, however MSIE is updated periodically and I tried it with the recently installed version 11 and yes it is failing here. My hypothesis therefore is that as people who are using MSIE have been 'upgraded' by Microsoft that their menus have failed.

Various things to say.

A. This doesn't surprise me. MSIE has long lagged the major browsers (Firefox, Google Chrome etc) in compatibility. Some parts of MV never worked well in MSIE, particularly prior to MSIE 9.

B. The MV menu system, which was bought in, preceded many of the improvements in Javascript development and is due for replacement.

C. Optimum here is to replace the entire menu system.

D. In the meanwhile, I recommend you use Google Chrome or Firefox both of which are faster and make better use of MV.

Of course, I would love it if someone experienced with javascript offered to research menu options for the site with a view to helping me change it speedily. Failing that it may be months before I can get around to getting this working with MSIE again.
