Eighteen Lists
Context of comment:Geo, thanks for your kind comments re new and expanded lists. There's two issues here, new software and new summits which came together this Jan by accident. Lets take, one, software. Software, particularly that with the "slippy maps" (technically, using lots of javascript) is hard to describe in advance so we have released this version of the new listing with the intention of taking suggestions about the final details.

You made the point about one such final detail, a summary of what was climbed at the end. Personally I didn't find myself using this much, preferring the Summiteers listing. I think good design is partly about simplification so I left it out. However if people want this feature, say so and I will put it back. If you have other suggestions, make them.

I observed someone using the V2 List software, without commenting myself, always a fraught moment. They didn't select summits they way I had expected. The rest of the V2 interface has now led to an expectation that when you click on anything in a map (as opposed to 'hover') then something would happen. So I changed it after initial release so that if you click on a mountain area you can select the summits round about for listing. Following through on this, I am planning to respond to a click on a summit triangle on the map.
Message:Send in suggestions and bug fixes. There's a known bug in the Best Rated 100 list.

Cnoc na Sleá: Not To Be Judged On Size

A small hill, but as it can form part of an extended walk, has some very steep sides, and has some of the best views in the country, it cannot be judged by size alone. I started at the car park at...
