re Image Security
Context of comment:Scannerman
Message:What evidence do you have that copy protection if it is actually feasible will make much difference to whether members upload pictures. Many major services do not protect images, even much larger images. I don't recall any mention of this when we did our user questionnaire.

How would you address BleckCra's point: "Will I be discomfited by someone inching my pics? Maybe. Will I be worse off? Not really."

TinyEye is perhaps the best suggested and has a free service which allows you to manually test for one image at a time. However MountainViews has over 10000 images and the commercial versions start at $200 / month, around 5 times our hosting cost.
Content Cop had the following review: "As excited as I was about trying out Content Cop, I became even more disappointed as I tried to use it. Feature after feature either failed to work or worked so inadequately that it was almost useless." which doesn't surprise me given their technical approach.
CopySafe is for protecting .pdfs not .jpgs
TinEye would mean totally changing the way the website presents images so that when displayed any keystroke immediately closes the page it is on! In any case it took me about 1 minute to find a way to download the demo protected images.

A fine hill with a well defined summit and great views. Plenty of parking spots along the R254 directly to the south of the summit. From there it's a relatively simple 1km climb to the top.
