Lough Muskry, Knockastakeen and the Galtys
Reading a comment in the UK newsgroup uk.rec.walking I came across the following statement talking about lakes with no outlet.

"..For example, try Lough Muskry in the Galty mountains on Discovery map 74 at R919246."

I have seen L. Muskry from the top of Knockastakeen but didn't notice whether it does or does not have an outlet. Certainly on the map it doesn't appear to have one which looks very odd.

Would someone like to try walking around the water to see if there is a definite outlet. Or perhaps one of our geologically inclined readers could say where exactly the water is going to?
