Stairway to Cuilcagh 2
Link below is to a whole load of images of the Cuilcagh boardwalk. It's a lot more intrusive than any of the boardwalks in Wicklow - Spink, Pier Gates-Djouce, Fairie Castle, Mullacor, and Torc in Kerry, and for the life of me I can't work out why they have to add handrails for the steep bit. There's a wide diversity of views on boardwalks and laying trails in the mountains - from those pathologically opposed to any interference with the mountains, to those (like myself) can live with the boardwalks in Wicklow to those who would like to turn the mountains into a playground and lay trails all over the place. As said, the boardwalks in Wicklow are ok by me but Cuilcagh and the pictures I've seen of what's been done on Binnian in the Mournes are steps too far
