charity cycle/climb
Hi
There is a group of us trying to put together a charity cycle/climb. Where we cycle through the 4 provinces of the island and climb the four highest peaks in each province. Mweelra (Connaught), Carauntoohill (Munster), Lugnaquilla (Leinster), Slieve Donard (Ulster). We have never been to any of these mountain ranges except Donard. We where looking more info on these climbs ie length of time to climb each mountain, best route/starting point, accomodation close by, and any other information you may think relative.
We plan to do this next july time as you can imagine we will need as much daylight as possible as we intend hopefully to cycle in morning to the mountain from some accommodation near by and away to accommodation further down our planned route. This will take alot of logistics as we hope to do it in as short a time as possible so if any one has any suggestions please forward them on.
Also anyone who would be willing to guide us on the days of the climbs or know anyone who would be willing.
I know this seems along way of but we want to have an idea of what is involved before anything is set in stone.

I did kayak to the island in 2014. There is a slipway facing the mainland. Lot's of ruined houses. Walking is decent as the island is flat but in places ground is uneven and overgrown, there are o...
