All Leinster County Tops in 24 Hours
Itís on like Donkey Kong! Taking into consideration some of the advice received on here we have altered our route, this reduces walking time of the challenge, but extends the driving time. It also keeps us clear of parking the car in dodgy areas at night time (I hope)! Three of us will take it on, sharing the driving duties, but to allay any concerns there might be, safety comes first, if none of us are able to drive we will pull in! I donít want to announce the date publicly beforehand, but it will be this month. We have got great encouragement from some on here and I genuinely extend the invite that if any of you want to join us for a summit or two (or even all of them!), then you are more than welcome, or indeed to provide any other support you wish. Just private message me here and I will tell you the date and send you on list of our expected arrival times for each summit and my number. Itís a good crew that we have and very much up for the challenge, would still love to know if anyone has any knowledge of this being achieved before and if so, in what time?

Tonelagee NE Top: Barely recognisable as a separate top
Colin Murphy a day ago.
This is a handy one to bag on the way to Tonelagee, but it is so nondescript that many a walker has by-passed it without realising it is a top in itself. The summit is a broad, grassy area with no...

Tonelagee: The perfect beginner's mountain

Besides crossing Glenmacnass River at the start and end, (which has seen many an unfortunate walker ascend in soggy boots) Tonelagee is a pleasant and relatively easy climb from the carpark near t...
