Some previous residents of Faughil take the easy way up to the summit!! (Expand pics)
For Faugh
You're not banging on about the names of small hills again Cra are you! Sure it's only a small wee hill in south Armagh. Before I get myself in trouble, I say all of that in jest. In this instance I agree with Cra and Barney that the hill should be renamed for the reasons that they have already outlined. Jonesborough hill is a good spot to get fireworks, but the summit that we have here is Faughill. As with other instances of this I think that it is a small error that will no doubt be corrected in time.

The more worrying aspect of the addition of this hill is that there are significant access issues!! With it's inclusion on the list I now have one summit outstanding to complete my local Cooley/Gullion range. What do we do here? Leave the list incomplete and try to not scratch the itch? One of our MVers has been kind enough to make polite enquiries about access, but to no avail. So what next? I think that the access issue of this border hill is more important than the name it is listed as on the website to be honest! Just don't walk into the gap o the north pub and ask where Jonesborough hill is, for fear of being laughed out of the place.
