The Creation
If I might be so bold as to make a suggestion for the intrepid Captain, he declares "a deep sense of puzzlement about how we got here, why we are here at all, and where we are going". I think perhaps Genesis is as good an explanation to the first part as any! But of course believing that generally, in my humble opinion, throws up as many questions as answers.
Perhaps gravitational waves or whatever the physicist boffins are currently in a flap about will give us closure. I hope not because as soon as we can answer what the Captain and all of humanity are asking, then the wonder, the delight in speculation and the thrill of the argument are lost and we are lost with them.
May your feet tread carefully and lightly as you enjoy our beautiful world. Go n'eirí an bothár leat.
