WHO'S THE TALLEST OF THEM ALL?
After a wonderful day in the Mournes, including finding a Campanula a thousand feet up in a crag, a rescue kerfuffle on the face of Cove Mountain and meeting an old hillwalking friend from years back ...., I didn't expect things to get any better until I found myself hitting the brakes on the way into Newry.
Tell me now what you think would be wrong with this exhortation ......... other than the indolence of some production assistant in the Mirror.
Answer: the pic is of Slieve Binnian and not of Slieve Donard - interestingly if you check out the other tops, we have virtually everything in the Eastern Mournes EXCEPT Donard.
Mirror Mirror on the wall who's the silliest billiest of them all?

Cupidstown Hill: Enhance this with a visit to Oughterard
Bunsen7 3 days ago.
Yes, perhaps this is not a very noteworthy hill. Cupidstown and Saggart Hill represent largely forest topped outliers of the Dublin/Wicklow range split from higher summits to the East by the N81. ...

Croaghmoyle: Easy walk up to great views

Low lying cloud/mist/fog discouraged me from putting the effort into going up Nephin today. On the way home I parked at the start of the Croaghmoyle service road and followed it past a wind turbin...
