The Reeks & it's Ridges!
Just a quick note to say thanks to Conor and Peter for your thoughts on the Reeks. I did split the walk into two and still didn't do the Bones and Beenkeragh, but hey, that just gives me a reason to go back down again in July and experience this wonderful place again!

Did Cruacha Mor to Cnoic na Toinne on Friday and was thankful that I made the call to do this, as it was the best weather of the weekend and the wind and cloud didn't come in until nearing Knocknapeasta. Got the attached photo on this walk and was one of the best of the weekend. Went back for Caher (and yes, the West top) on Saturday, before finishing up with Carrauntohill and completing my round of the county tops.

Cronin's Yard is great place to base yourself from and I'm really getting to like these trips to the Kingdom! Only one these classic ridges left to do now.

Summit Summary
Robber's Pass Hill: Minor heathery lump. Overcivilised and underwhelming.
Collaborative entry Last edit by: simon3 a week ago.
This oddly named hill is more a very minor heathery bump incorporated into the system of tracks laid out by the Wicklow Mountains National Park. It can be reached from any of the western car-parks...

Cupidstown Hill: Enhance this with a visit to Oughterard
Bunsen7 4 days ago.
Yes, perhaps this is not a very noteworthy hill. Cupidstown and Saggart Hill represent largely forest topped outliers of the Dublin/Wicklow range split from higher summits to the East by the N81. ...

Croaghmoyle: Easy walk up to great views

Low lying cloud/mist/fog discouraged me from putting the effort into going up Nephin today. On the way home I parked at the start of the Croaghmoyle service road and followed it past a wind turbin...
