The Reeks Ridge - Your Thoughts?
With 31 County Tops done, including Galtymore and the Lug and Mount Brandon also bagged, I have one big walk scheduled for this Saturday! The original idea was to do all the eleven 900+ peaks in the reeks in one day as mapped out in the attached picture. With the bad weather forecast for Saturday I'm thinking of splitting the walk into two.
Friday: Cruach Mor to Cnoc an Chuillinn and down the zig zags into the glen
Saturday: Back up the zig zags and finish off the route.

I've never done this on here before about any walk, but I would appreciate any advice or suggestions about route, either by private message or here on the forum. Also, are there any parts of this route too dangerous to walk in wet and windy conditions?

Topped Mountain: Short & simple

A simple little Binnion to climb (the name Topped 'Mountain' is a bit of a stretch). A gravel path & steps from a carpark will see you reach the top in about 15 minutes, and you won't even need yo...

Crockmulroney: Good summit for Carn-baggers
Colin Murphy a week ago.
A fine hill with a well defined summit and great views. Plenty of parking spots along the R254 directly to the south of the summit. From there it's a relatively simple 1km climb to the top.
