Headtorch manufacturer interested in reviewer
UPDATE. Sorry, someone volunteered for this already.

Would you like to review a relatively new and different sort of headtorch for use in hillwalking ? A manufacturer has offered to send a sample.

Let us know at group@mountainviews.ie if interested in receiving the sample and writing the review, which will appear in the gear section of the monthly MV newsletter.

From the manufacturer:
We are an Irish based company in Carlow, est 1973.We have being selling a LED rechargeable headlight for three years. This has proven to be a great product. Used by farmers, walkers, rail workers and the esb. We sell 1,200 per year.

Robber's Pass Hill: Minor heathery lump. Overcivilised and underwhelming.
Collaborative entry Last edit by: simon3 5 days ago.
This oddly named hill is more a very minor heathery bump incorporated into the system of tracks laid out by the Wicklow Mountains National Park. It can be reached from any of the western car-parks...
