Sounds very continental/civil code to me!

On these islands, we pride ourselves on the adversarial system, warts and all! And by and large, I would have thought internet forums work in the same way...but I appreciate that this is more of a resource, less of a chatsite. But is there not something to be said for letting everyone slug it out, subject to usual rules on civility etc?

I just think moving the issue along to another person might not solve anything, one side or another may be upset with their conclusions and is it necessary to get someone to form recommendations or conclusions? Might it not be better to invite a submission limited to say a number of words from each party, and then let them both stand side by side here as representing the views of various contributers?
