Dangerous bog conditions
Just as an add-on to Wicklore's post a few minutes ago, if the bogs are very wet around Turlough Hill, then you can take it as read then they will be equally bad and potentially dangerous in the other usual suspect peat hag locations - between Mullacleevaun and Mull East Top, Barnacullian Ridge between Mullacleevaun and Tonelegee. And notoriously eroded stretches - like from the Zig-Zags up to Cloghernagh will also be very bad. Maybe routes to be best avoided while we're in the middle of the current squelch! |
