Re: A fleeting Beauty
Unlike Simon, I did get up early to see the transit of Venus on Weds last. I caught a brief glimpse of the rising sun above the clouds over the Irish Sea from Wicklow Town and managed to take a photograph as well. Seems like this was one of the few places in Ireland where the transit was visible as cloud obscured the view in most parts of the country. For those who missed it you will just have to wait another 104 years!
