The Top 100...
...I really like this feature, though to my shame I haven't contributed half enough.

I like the arbitrariness of it all. I mean, an issue like height is cold objective fact, but the fun debate is surely in the subjective, the "what is your favourite....".

And the list throws up some real quirks. Cruach Mhór at a whopping 4th yet the jewel that it looks across at and is dominated by, the Big Gun itself, trailing in 16th. And splitting them for some unfathomable reason. Knocknagree in the top 10. Knocknagree! It's not even surely in anyone's "top 10 at the western end of the Cahas"? And speaking of the Cahas, Hungry Hill only just makes the top 100, at 90th, yet Knockeirky (which is pretty much just a bit of raised bog from its southern aspect) is 14 places better off. Knockeirky would make my "least impressive 5" ranking, marginally higher than the one with the graveyard for JCBs just below the summit. And not a peep from any of the Mangertons, even the highly accessible and attractive Peakeen. Boughil, which can look pretty dramatic, fails to chart. And speaking of dramatic, I cannot believe that Mullaghanattin only comes in 41st. It's Mullaghanattin, it's the most attractive mountain in the country...that's not me confusing the objective with the subjective, that's gotta be official!
