Re The best rated 100
Folks,
I have recently joined this site and when completing my scores on the mountains climbed found that the topics could be greatly expanded upon. For example a mountain could be Aesthetic such as Truskmore due too the fact off a man made feature at the top.... Its certainly quite Unique with the huge mast at the top.
Although there is no/ little walker damage this is hugely due too the fact that most walkers take the main RTE access Road, which i'm sure wasn't on the origional mountain feature. Again this main path too the Summit would greatly enhance the access.... though from the opposite side off the Valley it seems greatly limited by the local land owners.
Views on each mountain will vary greatly depending on the weather, i know i have climbed a few mountains many times and my opinion would change greatly each time i climb the same mountain. If a mountain is climbed once on a dull day then i'm sure it would be given a poorer score than a great sunny day.
Each specific tab would result in a large difference in percentages especially if the mountain isn't climbed by many people for example "Croaghubbrid" is on the top 100 list having being rated by 3 people..........
