No Dublin/Wicklow summit in the top 100
Surely this can't be right, all the joy and pleasure that these most frequently visited hills give to so many. Dare I suggest a campaign in favour of one, surely Lugnaquilla deserves a place in the top 100. Its a challenge, the highest peak in Leinster and one of the 9 above 900m in Ireland. There are a variety of routes to the top and an excellent start or end to many a good route. The view when not cloud covered is excellent and surely the fact that you usually meet some people reflects its popularity not its lack of wilderness. So come on, visit the info on lugnaquilla rate it and get it into the top 100 rated list. |
