Mysterious markers above Clonmel
While descending from Long Hill in the Comeraghs towards the holy cross that overlooks the town, we came across these markers at regular intervals. They have barely legible letters on them and an arrow pointing roughly east. Does anyone know what they are, I'm dying to know.
My personal guess is a variant of stations of the cross, but there seems to be about 25 of them. |

Summit Comment Coolcurtoga: Don't be put off, it's not that bad |
thomas_g 2 weeks ago. Climbed this today, it looks awful from the road, but once you're on the slope it's not that bad. There is the odd ankle twisting hole, but it's fairly easy to navigate the shelves to the top. Abo... |
