The Owenglin Horseshoe
Hi CaptainVertigo, better off ascending Bengower from Benbreen rather than the other way around on your first go or if its misty. It's just a bit of a scramble in places, and picking your way along rock ledges. There's a bit of a path in places. The descent of Benbreen is a steep scree slope (ideal for a scree run). A good guidebook in Paddy Dillion's Connemara. I've done the Owenglin horseshoe in its entirety twice, so if you need any more pointers, just give me a buzz. |
