LITTER NOW LEGAL ON THE MOUNTAINS?
Well David Kirk, there it is. You're not pleased; I'm not pleased; and I have no doubt we are not on our own, although it would be good to read that from other mountainviews members. Let's make this an invitation.
As always the prob is, some arcane organisation trundles on over the top of us because we are no threat and as long as we are no threat it will continue to get away with it. I have asked them on this site a couple of times to explain the rationale and costs for their work on the Midpace and also Slieve Binnian and the silence it telling - ie if they were comfortable with answering the questions they would tell us. I am now asking them again. If you thought it worthwhile to try and organise some kind of initiative against this kind of stuff, I would be for it. Anyone else?

Visited in 2014. There's a sandy beach and a solid pier with slipway and a picnic table facing the mainland. The road from the pier all the way thru the village is a robust concrete one, but it's ...

Now living furth of Scotland and getting to know the Irish hills. If you come across a Scottish hill Walker with dodgy knees and walking sedately, stop and say hello.

Surprisingly Donegal islands have a very good mobile internet reception, sometimes better than in an office in Dublin.
